Opening night for my sister's play is tomorrow, and I'm so excited for her!! Since I'm not gonna see the play until next week's preformance-- I have 2 write up a sweet letter or something 4 her 2moro. When I did PROOF, she wrote up this adorable poem, but I think my brain cells have been chopped short in that area. I can't write a poem to save my life. I think I could write, once, but it was school that messed me up... wtvr, that's a different topic.
AnYwAy... So I decided 2 write her a letter using random song lyrics, and then ask her 2 name the songs that are hidden in the letter :-) I'm doing ok so far, there are all kinds of songs about how "it was so fun" or "you had to work really hard", but I'm having trouble finding a song that says "and all that work was so worth it and now you can benifit from your labour." Every song about hard work talks about how it's NOT worth it!!
I'll give a few examples:
"I tried so hard... but in the end it DOESN'T EVEN MATTER" (so I'll write the "tried so hard" bit... In The End/Linkin Park)
"I tried hard to make it... but I'M NEVER GONNA BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU" (Perfect/Simple Plan)
"Sure I meant well... My road of good intentions led where such roads always lead-- NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED" (Elphaba/Wicked)

So can anyone think of a song with a POSITIVE attitude?

And Just When We Thought Hope Was Gone...

I'm actually referring to the magama I don't have. We tried to open another one to replace the mada'i-technology that fell apart last year, but nothing happened. So now I find myself wasting so many hours sitting out in the school hall doing basically nothing. With the help (and possibly persuasion) of my mom, the possibility of doing an avodat-gemer came up.

Should I go 4 it?
My subject would have something to do with theatre.

Pros: I wont be sitting around in the halls doing nothing;
I will learn a ton-- and it will be interesting;
It will replace the megama I wish I had, which is theatre;
40% of my grade will be made of the work I'll be doing for Wicked-- so it wont be like I'm working on Wicked instead of working on school;
I'll get a chance 2 meet people in the field and make contacts;
I'll have more of a background in the field;
There might be more pros, but I think it's getting redundant...

Cons: It will be hard;
It will be time consouming. Time seems to always be getting in the way, no?
Time consouming is a big con, so I'll leave it at that.

Does anyone have any ideas for a thesis??
I found a few online, but anything is welcome... :-)
