Anything you want to ask?

I think people talk to Israelis and don't know ow what to ask. Like say you're visiting Israel for the first time or you're meeting an Israeli abroad - do you know what to ask?

Sure you can ask how we are, or how we feel about our government, but that won't help you understand the war any better. Here are some questions you could ask:

1. What was your army experience like? What did you do? How do you feel it contributed to your society and what did you learn from it? Almost all of us served in the IDF, and learning about the army can really help you understand how our society sees its place in the world.

2. During war the men are gone. We know about Rosie the Riveter from WWII. What happened to women during the war? What male jobs did they have to take over? Where does this meet modern feminism?

3. What gives you hope? Where do you look when you want to find a better future?
