Defying Gravity... Yeah, I like it.
(Thanks Mim.)
I mean, on the one hand it's the name of a song from Wicked, and I love that musical. Elphaba is singing about how she has to run away from what everyone thinks of her and how "everyone deserves a chance to fly!" On the other hand, and on a more general note -- defying gravity may be about going against the flow, but it isn't about rebelling: It's about moving against the force that's pulling you down.
Another reason I like this name is simply because I enjoy studying physics, and gravity, well... It has to do with physics.

great name! not so much cuz of the musical to me, but cuz the second part. its more then just moving against the force. its fighting, defying. kinda like saying "im gonna get off the ground and wont let you get me down, not only cuz itll be better for me, but also just cuz it'll piss you off".
its a good thing to remember:)
that's like my display pic that i made that says "can you fly?" that was the same idea... I guess it's a true thing if the idea keeps coming up. Going against gravity means having the powers of the "up" pulling you stronger than the powers of "down". It's about having two equal strengths, but allowing one - the better one - to take over.
